Rodrigo Hübner Mendes has dedicated his life to ensuring that every person with a disability has access to quality education in the common school. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Human Diversity Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He was a student of the Leadership and Public Policy course for the 21st century at the Kennedy School of Government Harvard. In 2008, it was selected by the World Economic Forum to join the Young Global Leaders group, a program that brings together leaders of relevance up to the age of 40. It also integrates Ashoka's network of social entrepreneurs. Rodrigo is a professor, researcher and superintendent of the Rodrigo Mendes Institute (rm.org.br), a non-profit organization founded by him in 1994. The Institute develops research programs, continuing education and social control in the area of inclusive education.
